PARAÑAQUE, 24 JULY 2025 – The Department of Foreign Affairs – Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) informs the public that consular operations in OCA Aseana will resume on Friday, 25 July 2025.
As the office will be processing clients with valid appointments for Friday, 25 July 2025, as well as other individuals with prior appointments affected by the work suspension due to inclement weather, the public is reminded of the following:
- Priority for Emergency and Urgent Cases
Clients with emergency and urgent consular needs will be given priority. They are expected to be able to show qualified proof of urgency/emergency for the assessment and evaluation of the Office of Consular Affairs (OCA).
- Longer Wait Times Expected
There will be a longer waiting and processing time than usual due to the high volume of clients coming to the office following the consecutive days of work suspensions. DFA-OCA assures the public that every effort is being made to accommodate our clients while even with the expected long queues. The public’s patience and understanding during this time are requested.
Your cooperation is vital to ensuring the orderly and safe resumption of services.
- No Need to Rebook Appointments
There is no need to secure a new appointment. DFA-OCA highly encourages all affected applicants to adhere to their new appointment schedule to ensure a smooth and orderly processing experience.
Consular applicants with confirmed appointments on 21, 22, 23, and 24 July 2025, in OCA Aseana will be rescheduled as follows:
FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS
- Rescheduling of Passport Application Appointment
Affected passport applicants with appointments in OCA Aseana from 21 to 24 July 2025 are advised to follow the new appointment schedule below (excluding weekends, holidays, and any further work suspensions):
