PARAÑAQUE, 21 JULY 2024 – The Department of Foreign Affairs – Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) informs the public that the consular operations in DFA ASEANA and Consular Offices in the National Capital Region, CO NCR Central, CO NCR East, CO NCR North, CO NCR Northeast, CO NCR South, and CO NCR West are suspended on 21 & 22 July 2025 effective 1:00 PM, pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 88 from the Office of the President dated 21 July 2025, declaring the suspension of government work on 21 & 22 July 2025 due to continuous inclement weather brought about by the Southwest Monsoon.

Affected applicants for consular services with confirmed appointment on 21 & 22July 2025, in DFA ASEANA and Consular Offices in the National Capital Region, CO NCR Central, CO NCR East, CO NCR North, CO NCR Northeast, CO NCR South, and CO NCR West will be rescheduled as follows:

FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS:

  1. Rescheduling of Passport Application Appointment

Affected passport applicants at DFA-Aseana and Consular Offices (COs) in  NCR will be accommodated within 30 days from their original appointment date in their respective original appointment site. For example, the original appointment is on 21 July 2025, the clients may apply on any day from Tuesday, 22 July 2025 to Wednesday, 20 August 2025. This is to ensure smooth transactions and avoid inconvenience brought by long queues once the operations resume.  

Meanwhile, affected TOPS applicants will be accommodated within 30 days from their original appointment date, at their respective Supervising Consular Offices (SCOs). Said applicants are instructed to follow the same time slot in their original appointment.

  1. Passport Release

Passport Releasing Service Center at DoubleDragon Meridian Park, Pasay City will also suspend its operations on Monday, 21 July 2025, and will resume operations on Tuesday, 22 July 2025. Any passport release scheduled on the said date will be rescheduled on the next working day.
